I keep them in boxes in a closet in my computer/sewing room, and in many boxes in the attic. My wife is not very inquisitive so she doesn't roost around in my stuff.

Yes, I do have a lot of stuff!! For instance, I have 147 pairs of shoes and boots: 64 pairs of pumps, 37 paris of high heel sandals, 15 pairs of boots, 7 pairs of thigh-high boots, 6 pairs of "slut boots", and 18 pairs of miscellaneous high heels!
